As a dirtbag, this is my go-to place for gear. They’re almost always the cheapest, have good service - they replaced my faulty shoes twice in a row - and have a great selection of gear. Top notch ????
A few days after making an order of several items, including one item for pre-order, I noticed the order was held up due to 'waiting on stock'.
Sent a message to customer service and got a response within 24 hours, then subsequent replies almost instantly: It was the pre-ordered item holding up the rest.
I asked if they could split the order, but unfortunately by itself the pre-order item would be under the free shipping limit. But they offered to either make it a separate order and charge the shipping fee, or cancel the item and refund it (so that the rest of the items could be sent now). Went with the refund and got a refund confirmation within minutes.
So be aware when making a pre-order as well as in-stock items: The latter will be sent quicker if you order them separately from the pre-order items. All pretty logical.
A minor inconvenience on my end, but EpicTV are super helpful and transparent so I will happily shop there again!

Brought new pair of climbing shoes, watched thoer review and got a pair based on that. They are awesome, and delivery was spot on great to deal with and will buy again from them...

I ordered two Ice axes right after new year and I didn't know that they will be sent from the UK. They got stuck in customs because of the Brexit changes and it is hard to deal with that in my country especially right now. I talked to support they told me to ask for the package to be returned. I did that and I got a full refund after 6 weeks. Support answered all my emails within the hour.
I recently purchased some trad climbing gear from the EpicTV Shop. It arrived very promptly and in great condition. This was my first trad purchase, and I found the website easy to use and navigate with clear displays.

Absolutely hopeless customer service when it comes to exchanging due to shoes not fitting. Couldn't have made it clearer that I wanted to exchange for a larger size, and after going back and forth with their support email, with no support number to call, and eventually having to bother the poor soul that manages their Instagram account to even get a competent answer, I get an email saying I'm being refunded.
Can't complain too much, because at least I'm getting the refund, but seriously guys, sort out your after-sales service. I understand the business is based in France not the UK, so can cause logistical and language issues, and is a relatively small business, but there are modern solutions that would save both parties a lot of grief.
Not going to go as far as saying I won't use you again, but I'm gunna get my shoes from elsewhere when the refund comes through, because I can't face dealing with "SUPPORT HERO" again...

So EPIC TV Shop challenged my Trustpilot review and after sending the documentation to Trustpilot, Trustpilot verified my review. I think this is slightly bad faith as they knew the story. At least now it's 'Verified'. After this, EPIC TV Shop offered to give me a credit to spend in store equal to the amount of money I lost to the Courier Company. So they did at least go someway to making the issue better. That's good and I appreciate that from them. I do wonder how they would have reacted if I hadn't put on any review or if Trustpilot had not verified my review?
In summary; EPIC TV Shop credited me for the lost monies and for that, I'm appreciative. But the amount of effort involved (at least 20 emails, reviews, etc.) and the fact that I still had to spend monies with EPIC TV Shop to use my credit, which I should never have had to pay in the first place, has left a bitter taste in my mouth. Fortunately, no issues with VAT or Customs duties second time around so it seems they have solved that.

Full story. I ordered so kit from Epic TV Shop french website, paid in Euros for delivery in France.
I selected the standard delivery option. Paid and thought that was that. NOOOOOO!
When the product was delivered via the Courier Company they wanted 92.50 for VAT and Customs Charges. The initial communications from Epic TV Shop was that they would refund this but they only refunded 19 Euros claiming that they didn't charge VAT. I went back to their website and the same product is not only cheaper but cheaper including the VAT.
So this added circa 73.50 euros to the cost of the product that I had paid for which made the product way too expensive. But that's not the end...
They then sent the wrong product out. After about 15 emails they sent a returns label (do they make this process deliberately difficult??) but will they refund the VAT paid to the Courier Company? NO.
So they mislead me in believing I was ordering from France, the price displayed was not the final price paid, they sent the wrong goods, made the returns process very difficult and I have the please of paying 73.50 euros for nothing!!!
I will not support businesses that have such bad customer services and won't own up to the problems they have created. Never again.
Provided the climbing shoes on time however they were the wrong model and not correctly advertised on site . Refused to accept a return due to being outside the return window though for a month they wouldn't accept the return. So a shared error but would have been nice if they'd replaced the wrongly advertised item.
